Ingredients

For the salad

1 package Abbot’s Whole Burger

Extra virgin olive oil, for cooking

4-6 cups chopped romaine lettuce

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

3/4 cup pickles

½ medium red onion, thinly sliced into rings

1 recipe burger sauce (below)

For the burger sauce

1/3 cup vegan mayonnaise

2 tablespoons ketchup

1 tablespoon finely chopped pickles

1 tablespoon maple syrup

1 tablespoon dijon mustard

2 teaspoons white vinegar

½ teaspoon paprika

¼ teaspoon garlic powder

¼ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon pepper

Description

The classic burger flavors you know and love, but with a healthful twist. We crumbled our Whole Burger, packed with satiating plant protein, superfood seeds (like flaxseed and chia), and wholesome veggies, over a bed of greens, then drizzled it all in a creamy, craveable dressing.

Method

  1. Cook the burger patties according to the package instructions.

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the burger sauce ingredients.

  3. Assemble. Divide the lettuce between two bowls. Break each patty into small chunks and place in each bowl. Add the cherry tomatoes, pickles, and red onion. Drizzle with sauce. Enjoy!
