Saucy Romesco "Beef" Tacos

Ingredients

1 package Abbot’s Ground “Beef”

1 pouch Haven’s Kitchen Red Pepper Romesco

1-2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

6-8 flour tortillas, toasted over an open flame

½ head purple cabbage, shredded

A few sprigs of cilantro

1 lime cut into wedges

Description

Make saucy, spicy, and irresistible street-style tacos in less than 20 minutes with this foolproof recipe. All you need are five ingredients to get dinner on the table—perfect for a busy weeknight.

Method

  1. Heat 1-2 tablespoons of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the Ground “Beef”. Cook for 8-10 minutes or until the “Beef” is nicely browned, even charred in some spots.

  2. Squeeze in ½ a pouch of the Romesco sauce into the “Beef”, mix, and continue to sauté for another minute or so. Stir often to prevent sticking.

  3. Generously scoop the seasoned “Beef” on top of the toasted tortillas and garnish with shredded purple cabbage, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime.

  4. Serve immediately and enjoy!
