Ingredients

1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil

5 Cloves Garlic, minced

1 Cup Sliced Canned Water Chestnuts

1 Package Abbot’s Butcher Chopped Chick’n

3 Baby Bok Choy, quartered

¼ Cup Soy Sauce

2 Tablespoons Maple Syrup

2 Teaspoons Sesame Oil

2 Teaspoons Balsamic Vinegar

½ Teaspoon Black Pepper

To Serve: white rice, sesame seeds, scallions

Description

Simple ingredients often make the best meals. This chef-quality dish features balanced macros and a super simple, delicious sauce that brings each nutrient-dense ingredient together. Bonus: it takes less than 30 minutes, start to finish.

Method

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

  2. Add the chick’n. Cook for 6-7 minutes until golden brown.

  3. Add the water chestnuts, bok choy, soy sauce, maple syrup, sesame oil, balsamic vinegar, and pepper. Cook 5-7 minutes until the bok choy is slightly wilted and the ingredients are well combined.

  4. Serve immediately on a bed of rice. Top with sesame seeds and scallions.
